The Longest Night Teaser Trailer Sets Netflix Release Date

Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for its newest Spanish-language series titled The Longest Night, which is a crime drama thriller set in a psychiatric prison. The six episodes will be available for streaming on Friday, July 8.

The Longest Night is directed by Oscar Pedraza from a screenplay written by Xosé Moraisa and Victoriano Sierra Ferreiro. The series will be starring Alberto Ammann as Hugo, Fran Berenguer as Richi, David Solans as Javi, José Luis García Pérez as Lennon, Luis Callejo as Simón Lago, and Maria Caballero as Laura.

“Armed men surround a psychiatric prison and cut off all communications,” reads the logline. “Their purpose: to capture serial killer Simón Lago. Six episodes. One night.”

Additional cast includes Roberto Álamo, Bárbara Goenaga, Lucía Díez, Huichi Chiu, Laia Manzanares, Cecilia Freire, Zoe Arnao, and Daniel Albaladejo.
