Per the report, the premise focuses on an online interview session that goes awry when “a mysterious hacker hijacks the forum and systematically dismantles the privacy of the participants by revealing lurid secrets hidden from their past.”

“I’m honored that the team at Assemble saw in me the potential to help bring John Wikstrom’s dark Hollywood cautionary tale to the screen,” the 29-year old Zelda said in a statement. “For me, this project encompasses so many of my cinematic loves and I can’t think of a more timely moment for it.”

Zelda already has some screen credits to her name thanks to her short film Shrimp, which focused on “the world of sadomasochism and professional dominatrixes in Los Angeles.” Shrimp featured cameos from notable actors Frances Fisher, Sasha Lane and Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi. Distributor Gunpowder and Sky have agreed to develop a half-hour TV series based on the short film with Williams set to write, produce, direct and star.
