The news was revealed by star Dwayne Johnson, who took to Instagram to thank fans for their support. In a post, the actor revealed the news, with Netflix also noting (via Advanced Television) that the movie has already been streamed for a whopping 129,100,000 hours during its release week. Overall, the film has already been streamed for 277.9 million hours, so it’s not too surprising the film is the biggest the company has ever seen.

Red Notice is a globe-trotting, action-comedy heist thriller designed as a three-hander between Johnson (Black Adam), Gadot (Wonder Woman films), and Reynolds (Deadpool films). Rawson Marshall Thurber wrote and directed the film. Thurber has a history with Johnson, too, as the duo collaborated in Central Intelligence and Skyscraper.

In the film, Johnson’s FBI agent is tasked with capturing the most wanted art thieves in the world. “Red Notice” refers to the highest and most serious of Interpol notices (there are eight) and concerns the arrest of wanted criminals. Meanwhile, Gal Gadot portrayed the role of the world’s greatest art thief with Ryan Reynolds playing the world’s greatest con-man.

Red Notice is being produced by Beau Flynn for his Flynn Picture Co.; Johnson, Dany Garcia, and Hiram Garcia for their Seven Bucks Productions; and Thurber for his Bad Version, Inc, with Wendy Jacobson serving as an executive producer.
