Moon Knight Clip Previews Ethan Hawke’s Summoning Powers

Disney+ has dropped a brand new Moon Knight clip for Marvel Studios’ Oscar Isaac-led Marvel Cinematic Universe series, which will start streaming next week on March 30.

The video gives us a glimpse at one of the superhero series’ many action sequences, featuring Isaac, May Calamawy, and Ethan Hawke. It also teases the mysterious powers of Ethan Hawke’s Arthur Harrow as he summons a creature to chase Steven Grant and Lyla, who we also finally get to see in action.

Moon Knight will see Golden Globe winner Oscar Isaac taking on the titular role of Marc Spector, which marks the iconic superhero’s live-action debut. It will also feature the introductions of Oscar nominee Ethan Hawke as Arthur Harrow, Oscar winner F. Murray Abraham as the voice of Khonshu, May Calamawy, and the late Gaspard Ulliel as Midnight Man.

“It follows Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life,” says the official synopsis. “Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.”
