In a new blog post published on Friday, Bethesda released a video detailing some of the major upgrades that will be available in the re-release. Prior to that, though, Bethesda revealed that four special creation content items will be available to players who already own Skyrim Special Edition.
For those looking to celebrate Skyrim’s anniversary without buying the new Anniversary Edition, Bethesda will be giving away the following to owners of Skyrim Special Edition:
- Saints & Seducers — A creation pack originally released in 2019 that adds two quests, new armor sets, weapons, and enemies to the game.
- Rare Curios — A creation pack that adds additional goods into the game, including new wares to make new potions, arrows, poisons, and more.
- Survival Mode — Originally added in 2017, this creation lets you play on a much harsher difficulty, with things like warm gear needed for traversing colder environments, as well as hunger and exhaustion meters popping up.
- Fishing — The newest mode creation to Skyrim, fishing lets players catch and cook over 20 unique aquatic species across all of Tamriel.

Alongside the four new rewards and existing suite of Creation Club content, Bethesda also detailed some of the brand-new creation club content that is exclusive to the upcoming Skyrim Anniversary Edition. While it didn’t reveal too much, Bethesda did note that there would be new quests that tap into Tamriel’s history, allowing players to earn new weapons, armors, and even a new, conjurable Daedric horse mount.
