Titles arriving December 15 include Ted 2, Fantastic Four, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol and more!
Welcome to ComingSoon.net’s look at all the top titles arriving this week on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD. Check out the gallery viewer below for a look at the major new releases, catalogue films and television collections hitting shelves and/or VOD beginning Tuesday, December 15, 2015.
This week is a bit quieter than most, but there’s still a number of recent big screen releases coming home December 15, including Josh Trank’s recent Fantastic Four reboot and a trio of franchise sequels. Tom Cruise is back in action in Christopher McQuarrie’s Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation while Seth MacFarlane returns to direct and voice Ted 2. Finally, the Gladers face a new gauntlet in Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials.
Shout! Factory continues their horror-centric “Scream Factory” line December 15 with a trio of new discs. Available separately are both Zombie High (a 1987 horror comedy starring, among others, a young Paul Feig) and The Car (a 1977 release about a killer automobile) while a third, double feature Blu-ray offers up another two 80s cult entries with both The Dungeonmaster and Eliminators.
On December 15, The Criterion Collection releases Howard Brookner’s 1983 Burroughs: The Movie. Thought lost for decades, a print of the documentary was discovered in 2011 and has been fully restored for its first ever home entertainment release.
Troma‘s unlikely superhero franchise, meanwhile, gets a complete Blu-ray release December 15 with the four-disc The Toxic Avenger Complete Collection.
From the small screen come both the second season of CBS‘ sci-fi drama Extant (produced by Steven Spielberg and starring Halle Berry) and the first season of Netflix‘s Marco Polo, following the 13th century life of the Italian explorer.
