Eternals TV Spot Hypes Up the World’s Greatest Warriors

Marvel Studios has released a brand new Eternals TV spot for Oscar-winning filmmaker Chloe Zhao’s star-studded MCU film, which is slated to make its debut on Friday, November 5 for a 45-day exclusive theatrical run. The video features some new footage that continues to hype up the introduction of the titular heroes, who Kumail Nanjiani’s Kingo described as the “greatest warriors the world has ever known.” In addition to giving us a new look at their powers, it also provides us a glimpse at some of their playful banters that highlight the immortal team’s family dynamic.

Based on Jack Kirby’s Marvel comics of the same name, Eternals welcomes an exciting new team of superheroes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The epic story, spanning thousands of years, features a group of immortal heroes forced out of the shadows to reunite against mankind’s oldest enemy, The Deviants.

The film will feature a star-studded ensemble including Richard Madden as the all-powerful Ikaris, Gemma Chan as humankind-loving Sersi, Kumail Nanjiani as cosmic-powered Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as the super-fast Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as the intelligent inventor Phastos, Salma Hayek as the wise and spiritual leader Ajak, Lia McHugh as the eternally young, old-soul Sprite, Don Lee as the powerful Gilgamesh, Barry Keoghan as aloof loner Druig, Angelina Jolie as the fierce warrior Thena, and Kit Harington as Dane Whitman.

Eternals is directed by Chloe Zhao from a screenplay co-written by Matthew K. Firpo and Ryan Firpo. It is being produced by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige. Zhao is coming off from winning numerous awards including Best Picture and Best Director at the recent Golden Globe and Oscar awards for her acclaimed work on 2020’s Nomadland.
