Netflix’s Elite season 2 sets premiere date in new teaser
Netflix has revealed the premiere date for the upcoming second season of their Spanish teen drama series Elite. The series is scheduled to make its return on September 6, exclusively on Netflix. The announcement came with the released of season two’s first teaser, which you can check out in the player below.

In Elite, Las Encinas is the most exclusive school in the country — where the elite sends their children to study. In there, three working-class teens have just been admitted after an earthquake destroyed their school. The clash between those who have everything and those who have nothing to lose creates a perfect storm that ends in a murder. Who committed the crime?
The series stars Casa de Papel (a.k.a. Money Heist) alums María Pedraza, Miguel Herrán, and Jaime Lorente, alongside Itzan Escamilla (Cable Girls, The Ministry of Time), Miguel Bernardeau (Ola de Crímenes), Arón Piper (15 Years and One Day), and Mexican singer Danna Paola.

Elite was created by Darío Madrona and Carlos Montero, who both co-wrote the series. Ramón Salazar and Dani de la Orden served as directors on the show produced by Netflix and Zeta Ficción.
Elite is Netflix’s second Spanish original series after Cable Girls was released in 2017. Season one is available now for streaming on Netflix.
