In Marvel Studios’ action-packed spy thriller Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.
Joining MCU vet Scarlett Johansson is David Harbour as Alexei/Red Guardian, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Rachel Weisz as Melina Vostokoff, William Hurt as Thaddeus Ross, Ray Winstone as Dreykov, and O-T Fagbenle as Rick Mason.
Set between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, the upcoming film will serve as the first feature in Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 4. Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff was last seen by fans during Avengers: Endgame, where she sacrificed her life in order for Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton/Hawkeye to obtain the Soul stone in Vormir. She has been portraying the character since 2010 in Iron Man 2, followed by starring roles in six more MCU films.
