The upcoming Shaman King anime has expanded its cast and revealed 12 new character designs.
From the official Shaman King anime Twitter account (via Anime News Network), a total of 11 new voice actors have been revealed. The character design for Blocken Meyer, which is the cute red-hooded guy in the gallery below, has been shown, but the person lending their voice to the character has not yet been announced.

Here is are all 11 cast members revealed as well as the characters they will be playing in the Shaman King anime:
- Kenichirō Matsuda as Luchist
- Megumi Hayashibara as Opacho
- Mitsuaki Madono as Peyote Diaz
- Tsuguo Mogami as Hang Zang-Ching
- Anri Katsu as Turbine
- Saki Endō as Kanna Bismarch
- Wakana Minami as Matilda Matisse
- Kei Shindou as Marion Phauna
- Takahiro Fujiwara as Big Guy Bill
- Ryotaro Okiayu as Boris Tepes Dracula
- Kousuke Takaguchi as Damayaji
Joji Furuta, who is known for working on The Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of the Commandments, is directing the new Shaman King anime, while Shoji Yonemura is in charge of the scripts. Satohiko Sano is responsible for character design, which you can see their work in the gallery below. Yuki Hayashi will be composing the music, and Masafumi Mima will serve as the audio director. The anime will hail from Bridge.

Shaman King began as a manga written and illustrated by Hiroyuki Takei. It was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump between 1998 and 2004. The first anime television series premiered in Japan in 2001. The new reboot first aired in Japan in 2021 and is still ongoing. It will premiere worldwide on Netflix on August 9.
